Terms of Service
Last updated: April 7, 2026
By creating an account on hub.empowermg.org, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Your account
To create an account, you must provide a valid email address that you control. We use magic-link sign-in, which means anyone with access to your email can sign in as you — please keep your email account secure.
You are responsible for activity on your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us immediately at contact@empowermg.org.
2. Acceptable use
This is a community space for the Korean American Seventh-day Adventist church network. By using it, you agree to:
- Treat others respectfully.
- Not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Not upload illegal, harmful, or misleading content.
- Not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or abuse the service.
3. Communications
Creating an account allows us to send you transactional emails related to your account — sign-in links, account notices, and security alerts. These emails are required for the service to function.
Marketing emails — event reminders, newsletters, and prayer updates — are sent only if you explicitly opt in. You can change your preferences any time at /account/preferences or unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any marketing email.
4. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by emailing us at contact@empowermg.org. We will remove your data within 30 days of a verified deletion request.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Content you provide
You retain ownership of any content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it within the platform for the purposes it was intended for (e.g., notification preferences, contact forms, future features).
6. Third-party services
This service relies on third parties to function — Supabase (identity), Resend (email delivery), Sanity (content), and Vercel (hosting). Your interactions with these services are governed by their own terms. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
7. No warranty
This service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any damages arising from use of the service.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to account holders. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
