As a second-generation Korean American, I always felt caught between two worlds. Finding this community showed me that my bilingual, bicultural identity is a gift — not a gap. Our young adult group grew from 8 to 45 people in one year through connections we made here.
We used the bilingual Sabbath School materials to finally bridge our Korean-speaking elders and our English-speaking youth. For the first time in years, multiple generations are studying together on Sabbath morning. It's been nothing short of miraculous.
